Yes, it was busy, but good. We have been doing some travelling with the kiddos, which is quite exhausting, but worth the effort. Just one more flight ahead of us, and then it’s clear sailing, more or less.

I’ve never flown with a child. I think you both are very brave.
Christmas with little ones is always exhausting but lovely. For a long time there was only one child (my granddaughter) in our family and then even she got past the little kid stage, but in the past 5 years, we’ve managed to accumulate 5, 5 years old and younger. It makes Christmas dinner quite lively. I enjoy watching their parents chase them around and knowing I don’t have to feel responsible.

Janet, whether we are brave, or only rash, is debatable, but certainly Christmas with children is a delight. It is funny to see what they enjoy most. This year the big hit was a red spatula (!) in a stocking and the chance to eat snow.
