Earlier this month Van Morrison stopped in Toronto to do one of his “Astral Weeks” concerts. While he was here, he sat down with CBC Radio’s Jian Ghomeshi for an hour-long interview. Those who follow Van’s career know how rare these interviews are: they are rarer than a June snowstorm. He makes a fascinating interview subject: combative, repetitive, paranoid, vulnerable, earnest.
